But she testified that during the very hours Torres was suffocating in the suitcase she simply had enough wine and fell asleep.

But then she claimed that she only left him in it because she feared for her life.

She was testifying about the constant physical violence she claimed to have endured at the hands of her allegedly abusive boyfriend.

They wanted to discredit her claim that she zipped up her boyfriend in a suitcase and left him there for hours because she feared for her life.

The defendant was the one who made the 911 that brought police to the 31st floor of that luxury apartment high-rise.
