Dr. Jason Pickett claimed that not only did the defendant know what she was doing when she killed her mom, Ashley Smylie, she was deceitful and manipulative in what she did and tried to get out of any responsibility for it. In his detailed 85-page mental health report, Dr. Pickett claimed Carly Gregg was misdiagnosed by a child and adolescent psychiatrist who determined that she had bipolar 2 disorder.
