Prosecutors told jurors Torres died of environmental suffocation when he lied in a suitcase for at least 11 hours. Next, the jury shifted their attention on the physical evidence prosecutors believed proved Boone killed her boyfriend. This testimony came from the DNA analyst assigned to this case.
