Burn Pile Murder Trial
S1, EP42 "DNA Analysis"The jury learned more about how much bloodstains and where exactly they were found at the Farris family farm where Gary lost his life. On the stand were crime scene investigators who processed and examined the different bloodstains and smears uncovered. The State wanted experts to break down key pieces of physical evidence linked to the shooting death of Gary Farris.
Burn Pile Murder Trial
S1, EP43 "Georgia Bureau Of Investigation"Agents from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation dominated testimony. Prosecutors wanted to show jurors that key Crime Scene evidence analyzed had Melody Farris's DNA on them. This went along with the state's Theory on how Gary was killed. His wife shot him and then moved his body to a PURN pile in attempt to get rid of any signs of his remains. Finding and linking Melody Farris' DNA on the tractor and a bullet inside the home was more proof that she was involved in this murder.
Burn Pile Murder Trial
S1, EP44 "Autopsy Report"The thorough but limited autopsy report was explained to jurors. Forensic pathologist Dr. Stephen Atkinson admitted how hard it was to find out how physically Gary Farris died because his remains were so burnt up. A process of elimination was the way he concluded the manner of death. Dr. Atkinson claimed Gary's remains showed no signs of a natural death, accidental death nor suicide. So, only homicide and undetermined were the only classifications left.

S1, EP2 "The Drifter Attacks The Nanny"Jennifer Fulford's boss testified for prosecutors. She was a nanny for this real estate investor's two children. Nanny Abduction Murder Trial
S1, EP3 "Missing Person To Homicide"A missing person's case was how the detective on the stand told jurors about Jennifer Fulford's disappearance. She went missing from the home where she was working as a caretaker of two kids only to be found dead three days later in a wooded ditch just miles from the home. By the time Scott Nelson forced his way into the home where Fulford was working as a nanny, he was a drifter in Winter Park, Florida. He was homeless currently on federal probation for armed robbery.
Burn Pile Murder Trial
S1, EP30 "Suspecting The Mother"Jurors listened to more descriptive testimony from the person who discovered Gary Farris' human remains. After his youngest son, who was living on the family farm, discovered the corpse in that burn pile he told police he was missing a gun and he found some blood inside the home. It didn't take long for Scott Farris to suspect his mother, Melody, in shooting and killing his father. Scott pointed out for jurors the fights and suspicious behavior of the defendant leading up and after the homicide.
Burn Pile Murder Trial
S1, EP31 "Challenging His Alibi And Motive"An intense cross-examination was underway. Melody Farris' defense argued that the state got it all wrong. It was Scott who was the real killer in this homicide because he was living and working at the farm when Gary disappeared and then turned up dead. Scott was the defense's straw man. The Defense wanted to poke holes in his take on what happened to his father and raise doubts that he had nothing to do with Gary Farris' death.
Burn Pile Murder Trial

Melody Farris' attorney brought jurors back to the family money which prosecutors claimed was her motive to kill her husband, Gary.
