She was concerned by the bruises and the abrasions on Corey which showed a number of healing bruises on his arms, torso and Shins. What was the full health evaluation of Corey? Dr. Deacon laid it all out for jurors. She noted he had over a dozen bruises and abrasions on him but overall he appeared to be fine physically.

Dr. Nancy Deacon got emotional when recalling the conversation she had with Corey about the bruises on his body. She kept asking him how he got them but Corey wouldn't answer. This was her attempt to help him if he was, in fact, abused by his own father.

Jurors learned important medical details of Corey's, health condition-the day before he died. Results of his x-ray and blood work showed everything was normal with him. Dr. Ye Kyaw Aung told jurors there was no evidence of sepsis, infections, or broken bones.
