Crazy in Alabama
In 1965, eccentric Lucille Vinson (Melanie Griffith) murders her abusive husband, chops off his head and flees to Hollywood to pursue television fame. Back in her Alabama hometown, nephew Peejoe Bullis (Lucas Black) witnesses the killing of a young black man by racist sheriff John Doggett (Meat Loaf Aday) and is unsure whether he should testify against him. When the law catches up with Lucille, she returns home, where Peejoe is becoming increasingly involved with the civil rights movement.
Little Secrets
Emily (Evan Rachel Wood) is a plucky preteen who is entrusted with her young neighbors' most private and cherished secrets. Every Wednesday, Emily sets up a booth in her backyard that regularly attracts the guilty young souls of the neighborhood. These include Philip (Michael Angarano), whose clumsiness and his interest in Emily make him a challenging client. But complications ensue when she suddenly finds it difficult to keep all of her neighbors' secrets to herself.

Slappy and the Stinkers
Enrolled in an educational summer camp, the Stinkers, five 7-year-olds who wreak havoc on their uptight headmaster, Morgan Brinway (B.D. Wong), decide to abduct a sea lion from the local aquarium with the goal of returning it to the sea. They are in competition, however, with the villainous Broccoli (Sam McMurray), who is out to steal the sea lion, teach it a few tricks and sell it to a Bulgarian circus. The kids do all they can to stop the resilient villain and save the friendly beast.

In the 1890s, Mowgli (Jamie Williams) is happily growing up in the jungle under the protection of Baloo the bear. Mowgli's carefree existence is threatened when he is seen by American circus scout Harrison (Bill Campbell). Eager to get his hands on Mowgli for a sideshow, Harrison seeks help from Mowgli's uncle, Buldeo (Gulshan Grover), who wants the young boy gone in order to pocket the inheritance his late brother left him. With Baloo's help, Mowgli races to evade his pursuers.

In a laboratory in Scotland, a mad scientist, Dr. Oddlike (Frank Simons), conducts experiments on a spunky canine, Kimble, who proves to be unusually adept at soccer. When Kimble escapes, he comes across Zack (Jake Thomas), a lonely American kid who has come to Scotland to find Brian (Nick Moran), the father he has never known. The remarkable dog helps to reunite father and son, but also tries to assist a struggling soccer team make it to the finals.

Celia Amonte (Sofia Milos) is a lonely widow and single mother with a rambunctious teen daughter, Vicky (Emmy Rossum). Her circumstances may change, thanks to the arrival of a sleek British gambler named Charlie Beck (Jason Isaacs). Though Charlie and Celia spark an instant attraction, the still mourning Celia is cautious to get involved with him. Vicky, on the other hand, is eager to teach Charlie how to romance her mother -- in exchange for gambling lessons.
