Renegades
Hannah Brockway (Evelyn Keyes) has a perfect fiancé in Dr. Sam Martin (Willard Parker). Sam, who is respected by Hannah's family, is a noble man who cares for her and can make a good living in their frontier town. Yet Hannah craves adventure and finds it when she meets dashing Ben Dembrow (Larry Parks), the youngest of a notorious crime family. Buchanan Rides Alone

Returning to Fort Lincoln, Capt. Benson learns of Custer's defeat at the Little Big Horn. At the inquiry as Custer's officers blame Custer for the defeat, Benson tries to defend him. However, Benson was suspiciously absent at the time of the battle and is now despised by the troops. So when an order to retrieve the bodies from the battlefield arrives, Benson volunteers for the dangerous mission of returning back into Indian territory.

Major Matt Stewart (Randolph Scott) leads a troop of Confederate soldiers on a raid, targeting a wagon that is transporting Union gold. After capturing a coach driven by nurse Molly Hull (Donna Reed), the soldiers try to evade a group of bandits chasing them to steal the gold.
