The Silencers

Veteran secret agent Matt Helm (Dean Martin) is living a life of luxury when his former lover, Tina Batori (Daliah Lavi), pulls him back into action. A sinister group known as the Big O has developed a plot to start a global nuclear conflict, so the carefree, womanizing Helm must stop the scheme of mastermind Tung-Tze (Victor Buono). Joining the suave Helm on his mission is the beautiful but inept operative Gail Hendricks (Stella Stevens), along with other gorgeous ladies.

A composer (Melvyn Douglas) goes on a cruise and meets a woman (Ruth Hussey) he likes more than his wife (Ellen Drew).

Pal Joey

Joey Evans (Frank Sinatra) is a philandering San Francisco-based singer with big dreams of starting his own night club, Chez Joey, but chasing women keeps him even more occupied. Despite making a meaningful connection with lovely chorus girl Linda English (Kim Novak), it doesn't stop him from seducing the wealthy widow, and ex-burlesque dancer, Vera Simpson (Rita Hayworth), who he hopes will bankroll his club. Marsha Meredith (Rosalind Russell) has just been offered a position as a federal judge. Much to her dismay, her nomination is challenged on the grounds that her divorce renders her unsuitable for the courtroom. Desperate to win the position, Marsha arranges a fake marriage to Alexander (Gig Young), even though she still has feelings for Peter (Robert Cummings), her ex-husband. Marsha and Alexander -- and Marsha and Peter -- soon find themselves in a series of compromising situations.

Fire Down Below

Set in the Caribbean, U.S. expatriates Tony (Jack Lemmon) and Felix (Robert Mitchum) cruise around the ocean and eke out a meager subsistence using their small trawling boat to transport cargo. When they take on the job of smuggling illegal-immigrant beauty Irena (Rita Hayworth) to another island, the two friends find their friendship torn apart by their mutual romantic feelings toward her. Though jealousy has split them apart, fate intervenes to bring the two back together.

Advertising executive William Weldon (Franchot Tone) narrowly averts career implosion when his clever wife, Margaret (Lucille Ball), helps him save an important advertising account. But tensions run high in the Weldon household after William's fast-talking employer, J.B. Cruikshank (Edward Everett Horton), invites Margaret to work for him too. The cunning couple must compete with each other to write a campaign for Emil Glinka (Mikhail Rasumny) -- a mad scientist with an alarming new product.

Sam Bissell (Jack Lemmon) is an advertising executive who loves his wife, Min (Dorothy Provine), and his family as much as he loves peace and quiet. When Janet Lagerlof (Romy Schneider), an old acquaintance, inherits a sizable fortune, Bissell is talked into pretending to be her husband in order to fulfill a legal requirement. Things get even more complicated when Ms. Langerlof is introduced to Bissell's employer, Simon Nurdlinger (Edward G. Robinson), as Mrs. Bissell.

Decameron Nights

In the 14th century, famous writer Giovanni Boccaccio (Louis Jourdan) returns to Florence, Italy, to woo beautiful noblewoman Fiametta (Joan Fontaine). Although Fiametta rejects Giovanni's attentions, he wins an audience by promising to tell her an original story. Relating a lively tale of a Spanish pirate, Giovanni then spins numerous other tales that Fiametta criticizes as mockery. After Giovanni challenges her to respond in kind, the pair flirts, trying to outdo each other in tall tales.
