The Bedford Incident

Reporter Ben Munceford (Sidney Poitier) is aboard a U.S. Navy ship sailing near the Arctic Circle, on assignment to write a profile of Capt. Eric Finlander (Richard Widmark), a hardened anti-communist. Despite the concerns of Munceford, medical officer Chester Potter (Martin Balsam) and others on the ship, Finlander is shadowing a Soviet submarine on patrol in the same area, hoping to make it to surface. The cat-and-mouse game, however, turns deadly serious.

First Men in the Moon

Around the turn of the 20th century, Joseph Cavor (Lionel Jeffries), a brilliant British scientist, creates his own spacecraft and takes a trip to the moon, accompanied by explorers Arnold Bedford (Edward Judd) and Kate Callender (Martha Hyer). After landing, they encounter an insect-like alien race that lives under the moon's surface, which has an air-like atmosphere. After glimpsing the extraterrestrial society, the group must soon escape back to Earth.

Henry's overbearing foster mother, Kate Dawson, doesn't approve of Henry's musical aspirations and uses the terms of his parole to force him to comply with her wishes.

Nick Romano (James Darren) lives in a poor tenement building on the south side of Chicago with his well-meaning but drug-addicted mother, Nellie (Shelley Winters). She encourages him to pursue his piano-playing talent in hopes that it will bring him a better life. Nellie's neighbors, like the alcoholic ex-lawyer (Burl Ives) who secretly loves her, help her in keeping Nick away from Louie, the resident drug dealer. But a chance meeting between Nick and Louie could change things forever.

Decameron Nights

In the 14th century, famous writer Giovanni Boccaccio (Louis Jourdan) returns to Florence, Italy, to woo beautiful noblewoman Fiametta (Joan Fontaine). Although Fiametta rejects Giovanni's attentions, he wins an audience by promising to tell her an original story. Relating a lively tale of a Spanish pirate, Giovanni then spins numerous other tales that Fiametta criticizes as mockery. After Giovanni challenges her to respond in kind, the pair flirts, trying to outdo each other in tall tales.

A former jewel thief (Warren William) is accused of murder after betting the police inspector that he can stay out of trouble for 24 hours.

To Sir, With Love

American Mark Thackeray (Sidney Poitier) recently received his degree in engineering, but cannot find work. To make ends meet, he takes a job as a teacher in a rough London East End school populated mostly with troublemakers who were rejected from other schools for their behavior. While the students at first see Thackeray as just another teacher open for ridicule and bullying, his calm demeanor and desire to see them succeed gradually earn him their respect.
