Owned and operated by ESPN in partnership with the Atlantic Coast Conference, ACCN is a new 24/7 national network dedicated to ACC sports. Approximately 450 live contests including 40 regular-season football games, 150 men’s and women’s basketball games, and 200 other regular-season competitions and tournament games from across the conference’s 27 sponsored sports will be televised annually, plus a complement of news and information shows and original programming.

Hannah Hildalgo and the No. 3 Fighting Irish (10-2, 1-0 ACC) host the Cavaliers (8-5, 0-1). Hidalgo, a 5-foot-6 sophomore and AP Preseason All-American, averages 25.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.3 steals per game. Notre Dame has won five straight.

The Eagles (10-4, 1-0 ACC) roll into a matchup with the Cardinals (7-5, 0-1). Louisville is 16-0 versus Boston College since joining the ACC in 2014-15 after going 3-0 last season with a second-round ACC Tournament victory. BC has won four in a row.

North Carolina at Miami

The Hurricanes (11-1, 1-0 ACC) host the No. 17 Tar Heels (12-2, 0-1). North Carolina scored a 66-61 decision over Miami last regular season, but the Hurricanes countered with a one-point victory in the second round of the 2024 ACC Tournament.

Clemson at NC State

The No. 22 Wolfpack (9-3, 1-0 ACC) seek their 16th straight victory over the Tigers (8-4, 1-0). Clemson last defeated NC State 76-74 on Jan. 6, 2011. Wolfpack senior Aziaha James averages a team-best 16.6 points per game, as well as 5.4 rebounds.

The Fighting Camels (5-7, 0-0 CAA) challenge the Tar Heels (7-5, 1-0 ACC) in Chapel Hill, N.C. North Carolina has won three of its last four contests following a two-point victory over then-No. 18 UCLA at the CBS Sports Classic on Dec. 21.

Interim coach Bill Courtney takes over as his Hurricanes visit the Eagles. Jim Larrañaga announced his retirement on Dec. 26, 2024. The 75-year-old went 716-483 in 39 years, leading Miami (2023) and George Mason (2006) to the Final Four.

California at Pittsburgh

The Golden Bears play the Panthers for the first time as ACC equals. Pittsburgh knocked California out of the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2002. Pittsburgh won its final three games in 2024 behind Ishmael Leggett's 19 points per game.
