The DePaul Blue Demons go for the season sweep of the Seton Hall Pirates on Friday night in Big East volleyball action. The Blue Demons come into Friday on a two-match winning streak and 15-7 on the season. They are 7-3 in the Big East and one of those wins came on October 13th when they beat the Pirates in four sets. They took the first two set from the Pirates before losing 25-18 in the third set. They would recover, though, and win the fourth set 25-19 to take home the win. They would lose their next two matches, but they have bounce back to get a three-set win over Providence and a four-set win over UConn on Sunday. They have been playing well and on Friday night they will look to stay hot against a struggling Seton Hall team.

The Pirates come into Friday on a three-match losing streak and they are just 8-13 overall and 2-8 in the Big East.
They beat Georgetown in straight sets after their loss to the Blue Demons, but have dropped three straight to Butler, Marquette and No. 6 Creighton over the last week and a half.
Saturday they put up little resistance in losing to the Bluejays. They didn’t score more than 14 points in any of the sets and they struggled to slow down Creighton.
They are going to have to find a way to play much better on Friday if they want to get an upset win and earn a series tie with the Blue Demons.
