Indiana will finish out its penultimate regular season weekend with a match at Ohio State on Sunday evening.
Regular season play is winding down and only two games remain in Big Ten volleyball play. On Sunday night, Ohio State will host Indiana at the Covelli Center in Columbus. The Buckeyes and Hoosiers are currently tied for 11th place in the Big Ten standings with conference records of 6-11 and both teams are 13-14 overall. On Friday, Indiana hosted UCLA, playing to a straight set win in front of 1500 fans. Indiana hit for .381 with Candela Alonso-Corcelles leading the charge with a 20-kill performance. Avry Tatum joined her in double figures with 11 kills, receiving support from Camryn Haworth who served up 40 assists on the night. The team was not challenged often by the UCLA offense, but when it was, Ramsey Gary was there to clean up and added a team-high seven digs to the stat sheet.

The Buckeyes bring a two-match win streak into Sunday’s contest, beating Big Ten newcomer 3-0 on Friday night at home. Emily Londot was the leading offensive player in the match, with 16 kills on 31 swings. Emmi Sellman also had double digit kills with 10 with help from Mia Tuman who finished the match with 30 assists. Olivia Hasbrook and Grace Egan shared responsibilities defensively and dinished the match with 11 and 10 digs, respectively.
Ohio State and Indiana have already met once this season and the game resulted in a four-set win for the Hoosiers back in early October. Tune in Sunday night to see if Ohio State can avenge the earlier season loss.
