Nevada will look to pull off a road win against UNLV on Thursday night for a chance to qualify for postseason play.
On Thursday night, Nevada will take a road trip to Las Vegas to take on UNLV in the regular season finale in Mountain West play. The Wolf Pack is currently in ninth place in the conference standings with a Mountain West record of 3-5-2 and an overall record of 5-12-2. While it is unlikely that the team will make it to the conference tournament, there is still a shot that the Wolf Pack can qualify. With a win against the Rebels on Thursday and losses from those teams above, Nevada could claim the sixth seed position. Most recently, the team played to a 2-2 draw against Utah State to add another point to its tally. Eva Wees and Serene Gronauer each scored tying goals in the match to help the Wolf Pack’s hopes of a postseason run stay alive.
