The Tigers bring a record of 3-1 into Thursday night’s game with the only loss coming to No. 8 Penn State in a close 1-0 loss. The team bounced back to pick up a 2-0 win over William & Mary on Sunday and will look to carry that momentum into the match against Drexel. Brooke Dawahare scored her second goal of the season in the first half to give her team a 1-0 lead before Pia Beaulieu extended the lead in the second half, netting her first of the year. Tyler McCamey saw 11 shots in the win, but made four saves to keep the net clear and earn her second shutout of the year.
The last time these two teams met dates back to 2019 when Drexel earned a 1-0 win. The only other game the two teams played resulted in a scoreless draw in 2018.
