How to Watch Kentucky vs Tennessee: Stream Women’s College Soccer Live, TV Channel

Kentucky and Tennessee will meet on Sunday afternoon for the final regular season game of 2024.

On Sunday afternoon, Tennessee will take a trip to Lexington to play Kentucky in the final regular season game ahead of SEC tournament play. Both teams are on the cusp of making into postseason play with the Vols sitting in 12th place in the standings and the Wildcats being in 10th. With 12 teams making it into the SEC tournament, Tennessee really needs a win to ensure a spot as the final team to make it in. The Vols are currently 7-4-4 overall with a conference record of 2-3-3. The team’s most recent game resulted in a 1-1 draw against No. 22 South Carolina on Thursday night. The Gamecocks opened the scoring in the 30th minute of play, but the Vols battled back and Macaira Midgley scored the equalizer on a penalty kick with just three minutes remaining. Ally Zazzara made three big saves in net to help her team earn one point in the tie.

The Wildcats have found success this season, but most of it came during non-conference play for an overall record of 10-3-2 as the team is just 2-3-4 in SEC play. On Thursday night, the team traveled to Starkville to take on conference-leading No. 3 Mississippi State, falling an a 1-0 heartbreaker. Marz Josephson was not challenge too often as the defense ahead of her contained the Bulldogs and only allowed them a total of eight shots with three being on frame. Josephson came up with two saves for the Wildcats. Sophia Mattice produced the only shot on goal for Kentucky, but it was scooped up by Maddy Anderson in net for the Bulldogs and Kentucky walked away without adding any points to its tally.

When Tennessee and Kentucky met last season during conference play, the game resulted in a 1-1 draw in Knoxville. While a draw could keep Tennessee in a postseason position, a win against the Wildcats would be the best bet at securing a spot in the SEC tournament. Tune in to see how the game plays out.
