How to Watch Georgia vs. Arkansas: Stream Women’s College Soccer Live, TV Channel

SEC Tournament play continues on Tuesday with a quarterfinal matchup in women’s college soccer between Georgia and Arkansas.

On Tuesday afternoon, SEC tournament play continues at the Ashton Brosnahan Soccer Complex as seventh-seeded Georgia looks to upset second-seeded Arkansas to earn a spot in the semifinal round of women’s college soccer. The Bulldogs made it out of the first round of play after defeating Texas A&M on Sunday in a narrow 1-0 victory. Dasia Torbert scored her fourth goal of the season with an assist by Nicole Vernis to give her team a 1-0 lead in the 19th minute of play. The game was pretty evenly matching, statistically speaking, with the Aggies narrowly outshooting the Bulldogs 14-12, but each team put four shots on frame. The difference ended up being Jordan Brown’s four saves in net to earn her ninth shutout of the season and a spot in the quarterfinals.

With the No. 2 seed in the tournament, the Razorbacks received a first round bye and should have fresh legs after having over a week off from competition. The team’s last time on the pitch was played on Oct. 27 in Oxford when it took on Ole Miss in the regular season finale. The Hogs won handily in a 5-0 victory which saw Ava Tankersley and Kate Doyle each earning a brace. Sophia Aragon also found the back of the net in the win and Keegan Smith earned the shutout in net, her 10th of the season.

Arkansas and Georgia did not meet this year in conference play, so the teams will need to rely on their scouting reports to prepare for Tuesday’s game. The last time the squads met was in last year’s SEC tournament final in which Georgia earned a 1-0 victory to take the title.

    Regional restrictions may apply.
