Valparaiso looks for its first road win of the season when it visits Saint Louis at Chaifetz Arena on Wednesday evening
Saint Louis (4-7) and Valparaiso (4-5) clash on Wednesday night at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, each looking for back-to-back wins. The Beacons have won three of their last four games and return to action for the first time in two weeks with an 0-3 mark in true road games. The Billikens, meanwhile, stopped a three-game losing streak on Sunday and are 2-2 at home. Saint Louis made its lone NCAA tournament appearance in 2023 and were 22-18 last season en route to winning the WNIT. Valparaiso last played in the NCAAs in 2004 and finished 5-25 a season ago.

The Billikens dominated visiting Ohio on Sunday afternoon, running away with a 96-52 victory. Peyton Kennedy dropped in 25 points, Shun’teria Anumele added 13 and Brooklyn Gray nearly had a triple-double, finishing with 10 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists. Kennedy scores 15.6 points per game and Gray nets 13.0 points a night, while Tierra Simon averages 6.2 points and 10.2 boards.
The Beacons rode a big first quarter to a 67-54 win over visiting Western Michigan back on Dec. 4. Leah Earnest finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds while Nevaeh Jackson added 14 points. Earnest averages 16.9 points and 8.0 rebounds and Jackson knocks down 13.9 points per game.
Saint Louis leads the all-time series 5-4 and won the last time the teams played, taking a 78-56 triumph at home on Nov. 10, 2013. Rebecca Tillett is 43-42 in her third season at the school. Mary Evans is in her seventh year at Valparaiso and is 64-121.
