The Huskies have struggled this season and come into Wednesday morning’s game with a record of 1-6 so far. The team will look to break a two-game losing streak after dropping an 81-50 game to UMass. Abby Jegede scored 20 points to lead the Huskies’ offense while Camille Clement was the only other Husky in double figures with 12 points after coming off the bench. Jegede has been leading the team offensively all season and is averaging 13.7 points per game. Taylor Holohan continues to lead on the boards with an average of 3.7 rebounds per game.
The Huskies have now had nearly two weeks off from game play and hope the break will assist them in breaking their losing streak. Stonehill and Northeastern have only met twice and the Huskies hold a 2-0 lead in the all-time series. The last meeting took place in 2023 and resulted in a 73-61 win for Northeastern.
