Two of the most historic and successful programs in women’s college basketball face off in an early season battle between 24th-ranked Stanford (4-0) and unranked Indiana (1-2). The Cardinal entered the season as an enigma, unranked and with a new head coach for the first time in 40 years. New Head coach Kate Paye has the Cardinal offense humming led by sophomore forward Nunu Agara. She has stepped in to replace Cameron Brink who went second overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft and Kiki Iriafen who transferred to USC this summer. Agara leads a quartet of double-figure scorers on this new-look Cardinal team that has the opportunity for a fifth straight win against this Hoosiers team.
