No. 6 Notre Dame (3-0) has blown through its first three opponents with ease, winning by an average of 44.7 points, and hits the road on Sunday to take on Lafayette (1-2) at the Kirby Sports Center in Easton, Pennsylvania. The Fighting Irish have played in the last three NCAA tournaments, getting to the Sweet Sixteen each year, and were 28-7 last season. Coach Niele Ivey is in her fifth season with a 92-32 record. The Leopards have never played in the tourney and are 72-123 since coach Kia Damon-Olson arrived in 2017. Lafayette was 10-20 last season.

Notre Dame blasted visiting James Madison 92-46 on Wednesday night, holding the Dukes to 21.7% shooting and forcing 17 turnovers. Hannah Hidalgo paced the offense with 24 points, Olivia Miles added 16 points and eight assists and Kate Koval finished with 14 points, 16 rebounds and six blocked shots. Hidalgo averages 23.7 points, Liatu King gets 17.7 points per game, Miles posts 17.7 points and 6.7 assists a night and Koval’s line includes 13.3 points, 11.0 rebounds and 5.0 blocks per outing.
The Leopards fell into an early hole and never recovered in a 73-41 loss at Marist on Wednesday. Tasha Chudy scored 10 points while Kay Donague and Talia Zurinskas each netted eight. Donahue averages 11.3 points and 6.0 rebounds and Abby Antognoli gets 11.0 points per game.
The programs met for the first time on Dec. 6 at South Bend, Indiana, with the Fighting Irish taking a 96-42 victory.
