    After starting the season with three straight wins Georgia (3-1) is looking to bounce back after a loss for the first time this season. The Bulldogs lost their first game of the season in an upset to Georgia State (66-60) at home. They take on another in-state opponent in Georgia Tech (3-0), but this time on the road as the Bulldogs look to get back on track. This game will be a clash of styles with the Bulldogs starting the season playing some of the best defense in the country and the Yellow Jackets who can score with the best teams in the country early in the season with a well-balanced attack led by freshman Dani Carnegie.

    Through her first three games Carnegie is leading the Yellow Jackets in scoring with 15.3 points per game with her sharp-shooting from three. Carnegie has come off the bench in all three games making her strong start even more impressive.

    Carnegie has lit it up from three making 2.7 per game on 55-47-80 shooting splits. She has been consistent, scoring at least 14 points in each game while making at least two three-pointers in each. The other star of the offense this season has been junior Tonie Morgan who is stuffing the stat sheet with 11.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.

    The Bulldogs could be without their dynamic freshman Mia Woolfolk. She led the team with 18 points and 13 rebounds in the season-opener but has been out since with an injury. Fellow freshman Trinity Turner has filled in well averaging 10.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.
