The Dream and Liberty are currently neck-and-neck in the Eastern Conference standings, with Atlanta sitting in fourth with an 8-8 record, three games back of the first-place Chicago Sky. New York is one spot behind Atlanta with a 7-10 record in the 2022 campaign.

The Dream recently snapped a four-game losing streak by defeating the Dallas Wings 80-75 on Tuesday night in Atlanta. Atlanta’s Maya Caldwell scored 18 points, Rhyne Howard added 16 points and eight rebounds, and Aari McDonald’s floater gave the Dream the lead for good late in the fourth quarter.
As for the Liberty, New York made 13 three-pointers, led by Stefanie Dolson’s 16 points to take down the second-place Connecticut Sun 71-77 on Wednesday night. The Liberty set a season-high in the first half with 51 points, including ten makes behind the arc.
The Liberty will now look to gain ground on the Dream when they square off in Atlanta on Friday night.
