Napheesa Collier and the Minnesota Lynx can close out the Connecticut Sun in Game 4 of the WNBA semifinals today.
The Minnesota Lynx (2-1) are one win away from moving on to the franchises seventh trip to the WNBA Finals. They went into Game 3 on the road showing the Connecticut Sun (1-2) and the rest of the league why Minnesota is a real contender this season. Minnesota took control early with a 23-16 first period edge and never relinquished building a 14 point lead heading into the final period. It was a balanced team effort with four of five starters scoring at least 13 points and nine different players scoring overall. Napheesa Collier, the MVP runner-up this season, led the way with 26 points and 11 rebounds. She has been a metronome all season for Minnesota leading them to one victory away from the 2024 WNBA Finals.

Courtney Williams continued her strong play these playoffs with 16 points and eight assists on 7-10 shooting from the field. That performance was her second straight strong performance after 17 points in Game 2, both wins for Minnesota who are 15-1 in the regular season and playoffs when Williams goes for at least 13 points.
Kayla McBride finished with 13 points and five rebounds and Bridget Carleton added 12 points and two timely blocks to round out the Minnesota players in double-figures.
For Connecticut the offense struggles came back as the team finished shooting just 41.1% from the field and 3-20 from three. Playoff star Marina Mabrey ran out of gas going 1-11 from three. The bench was also a no-show with four total points, all from Veronica Burton, putting more pressure on the starters. Now they face elimination at home in a win or go home Game 4.
