Los Angeles just barely lost on Saturday against the Chicago Sky, falling 90-86. Rookie Rickea Jackson had a strong showing, scoring 13 points and pulling down five rebounds in the loss. Kia Nurse, who played in the Olympics for Canada, led the team with 16 points while Stephanie Talbot came off the bench to contribute 13 points.
The Aces are coming off a disappointing 79-67 loss to the Liberty. Vegas just couldn’t generate offense in that one. A’ja Wilson had 24 points and 11 rebounds and Chelsea Gray had 13 points, six boards and six assists, but overall the team just couldn’t be buckets against a stellar Liberty squad.
