The Fever are back in the playoffs and head to Connecticut to take on the Sun in Game 1 of the first round on Sunday
The Indiana Fever, led by Caitlin Clark, take on the Connecticut Sun in Game 1 of their first round playoff series on Sunday afternoon. The Fever are in the WNBA playoffs for the first time since 2016 and it thanks in large part to possible rookie of the year Clark. She finished tied with Kelsey Mitchell at 19.2 points per game and she led the team with 8.4 assists per game. She also was third on the team in rebounding and broke numerous rookie records this season. The Fever went just 1-3 against the Sun this season, but they did win the most recent meeting back on August 28th. The Fever got an 84-80 win that day after losing by 21, four and 17 earlier in the season to them. That win was in Indiana, though, and the Fever are going to have to find a way to win in Connecticut if they want to pull off the upset and move into the second round.

The Sun, though, are looking to continue their dominance over the Fever and defend their home court and get a win in Game 1.
The Sun finished the season 28-12, but lost two of their last three and went just 3-3 in their last six games.
Two of those losses came to the Las Vegas Aces who finished just behind them in the standings.
It was a rough ending for the Sun in the regular season, but the postseason is a new season and the Sun are looking to get back on track and take care of the Fever.
