After an instant classic the New York Liberty look to even the WNBA Finals against the Minnesota Lynx here in Game 2.
If Game 1 of the 2024 WNBA Finals is a sign for what’s to come this series has a chance to go down in history as one of the best ever. The Minnesota Lynx (1-0) came back from multiple double-digit deficits to force overtime and steal Game 1 of this best of five series on the road. The New York Liberty (0-1) have one more game at home here before the series shifts to Minnesota for games three and four. In recent history the winner of Game 1 of the WNBA Finals has gone on to win the championship six years in a row. If that history holds up Minnesota would be in a position to win its record fifth championship led by MVP runner-up Napheesa Collier.
