The Connecticut Sun and Los Angeles Sparks will play the last game in the W on Sunday night in their third of four matchups of the season. Connecticut holds a 2-0 series lead so far and can clinch the series tonight. Both teams are trying to break up losing streaks though with the Sun trying to avoid three-straight losses while the Sparks have already lost three in a row. The Sparks have lost four of their last five games and are the first team in the league to be eliminated from playoff contention. LA lost its last game to the Chicago Sky who broke a seven-game losing streak with a 92-78 win. Angel Reese took over the game securing her 26th double-double as a rookie by scoring a game-high 24 points and adding 12 rebounds. The Suns have 12 more wins than the Sky so this game will be even tougher but at least the Sparks will be at home.

Connecticut lost its last game on Friday in what feels is a playoff matchup waiting to happen. The Suns lost in a tight contest to the Las Vegas Aces 72-67. Kelsey Plum had a great night scoring a game-high 27 points. Brionna Jones led the way for the Sun scoring a team-high 17 points.
