They secured a three-point victory in their last game over the Mercury. They drew out a 10-point lead by the end of the first quarter, but it was down to seven by the half. Phoenix came storming back in the third quarter outscoring Chicago by 13 and Chicago stormed back in the fourth for the win.
Guard Courtney Vandersloot led the way for Chicago with 18 points in the win.
The Dream sits in the exact position that Chicago is in. They have also been chasing Washington and they are 5-3 in the middle of the Eastern Conference.
Atlanta also played the Phoenix in the last game and blew them out 81-54. The Dream took a 13-point lead by the end of the first quarter and then were up 50-23 by the half. Despite comeback attempts, they won by almost 30.
Guard Kristy Wallace led the way with 17 points in the win.
