This stretch has Atlanta tied for the final playoff spot in the WNBA with just eight games left in the regular season.

This is the final game of the season between the teams, with Phoenix winning two of the first three heading into this game. All three games were decided by nine points or less, with two coming down to the final possession in Phoenix’s two wins.
In its last game, Phoenix held off a late push from Atlanta to win 82-80 after giving up a seven-point halftime lead. The trio of Griner (22 points and six rebounds), Taurasi (18 points and five assists) and Kahleah Copper (16 points and five rebounds) led the way for the Mercury in the win.
Four players for Atlanta finished in double figures, led by Allisha Gray (22 points), Rhyne Howard (16 points), Charles (14 points and 13 rebounds) and Jordin Canada (13 points) in the nail-biting loss.
