Atlanta lost its last game last week against the Mercury by two points. Phoenix opened up the first quarter with an eight-point lead; however, Atlanta brought it to within two by halftime. The third and fourth quarters were even, leaving the score 90-88.
Star forward Rhyne Howard led the way with 25 points for Atlanta.
The Sun are the leaders in the Eastern Conference right now. They are 10-4 and 5-2 at home and 5-2 on the road.
Connecticut lost its last game last week against the Sky. The game was even all the way through. Chicago was up one at the half. Connecticut was up three at the end of the fourth and couldn’t hold off being outscored 24-17 in the fourth quarter.
Brionna Jones led the way off the bench with 20 points in the loss.
