St. Louis had beaten San Antonio in both of their matchups this season before the Conference Championship, making that a sweet dose of revenge for San Antonio.
Meanwhile, the Stallions went 9-1 this season and got to today’s championship game by defeating the Michigan Panthers 31-18 thanks to former Nebraska standout, quarterback Adrian Martinez throwing for 164 yards, one touchdown and one interception, with former Ole Miss star and third-round NFL draft pick Matt Corral throwing for 120 yards and two touchdowns.
