The first sporting event inside The Sphere in Las Vegas features a loaded card in UFC 305 prelims
Noche UFC, a night dedicated to celebrating the history of combat sports in Mexico takes center stage inside the newest venue in Las Vegas, Nevada as the prelims for tonight’s UFC 306 step inside the octagon with four bouts ahead of the pay-per-view. Mexican bantamweight Irene Aldana (15-7) faces Brazil’s Norma Dumont (11-2) who is riding a four-fight winning streak and has won seven of her last eight bouts dating back to November of 2020. Aldana lost a unanimous decision to Amanda Nunes for the UFC Bantamweight title in June of 2023 but rebounded with a win over Karol Rosa in December earning Fight of the Night performance bonuses in each of her last two wins.

Also on the prelims, “El Loco” Manuel Torres (15-2) is on a six-fight win streak and puts his undefeated UFC record on the line when he faces Ignacio Bahamondes (15-5) off a knockout victory over Christos Giagos back in April that earned him Performance of the Night with a first-round head kick victory.
Elsewhere on the prelims card, Yazmin Jauregui (11-1) aims for her second win of 2024 when she faces Ketlen Souza (14-4) in a strawweight bout. Souza lost her UFC debut via submission to Karine Silva in June of 2023 but rebounded in her return to strawweight beating Marnic Mann via unanimous decision in Las Vegas in April.
Joshua Van (10-2) returns after his first UFC loss to take on Edgar Cháirez (11-5) in a flyweight bout. Van was knocked out by Charles Jonson in July and stepped in as a replacement for Kevin Borjas who withdrew from the fight just 11 days ago.
