No. 1-ranked Cassio Dias returns to action Saturday for the first 2 rounds of the 2024 PBR World Finals: Unleash the Beast Championship.
Cassio Dias, the rookie who tops the standings entering the first two rounds of the PBR World Champions: Unleash the Beast Championship, received clearance to compete after a nasty wreck during the eliminations last week. The top 15 riders in the standings at the end of the elimination rounds join 10 riders that qualified via the Ride for Redemption competition. Dias, stepped on during his Round 3 matchup in the eliminations, will sport a back brace in the championship rounds. With 1,700.33 points this season, Dias leads John Crimber by 487.5 points in the race for the gold buckle and the $1 million bonus that comes with winning the title.

Dias drew Mike’s Motive for Round 1, a bull he’s beaten twice this season, scoring 90.5 points in St. Louis and 91.25 in Nashville. In Round 2, Dias rides Big Chew after scoring 88.5 in Belton, Texas, earlier this season.
The championship rounds take place inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, after the eliminations and Ride for Redemption went off at Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth.
Eduardo Aparecido, one of only three riders with more than 1,000 points this season, enters the finals in third place, followed by Dalton Kasel, Alan de Souza, Kaiden Loud, Koltin Hevalow, Austin Richardson, Kaique Pacheco and João Ricardo Vieira.
