Ohio heads to Toledo on Wednesday looking to stay in contention for a spot in the MAC championship game.
Ohio (7-3) has won its last three games and is in a three-way tie with Miami (Ohio) and Bowling Green at 5-1 atop the Mid-American Conference. On Wednesday night, the Bobcats will look to stay in the hunt for a berth in the MAC championship game when they visit Toledo (7-3) at the Glass Bowl on Wednesday. The Rockets are 4-2 in conference play and have won their last two contests. Ohio has won two straight bowl games and is 30-19 in its fourth season under coach Tim Albin. Toledo has a string of three straight bowl bids, with coach Jason Candle 72-38 in his 10th season.

The Bobcats shook off an early second quarter deficit and rolled to a 35-10 win over visiting Eastern Michigan on Nov. 13. Parker Navarro ran for four touchdowns, finishing with 106 yards on 13 carries, and was also 22-of-32 for 277 yards through the air. Coleman Owen grabbed eight passes for 139 yards. Navarro has thrown for 1,636 yards with seven touchdowns and eight interceptions while also amassing 662 yards and nine scores on the ground. Anthony Tyus III leads the ground attack with 726 yards, while Owen has 56 catches for 882 yards and five touchdowns.
On Nov. 12, the Rockets hung 20 points in the second period to break the game open en route to a 37-10 thumping of visiting Central Michigan. Dual threat Tucker Gleason ran for 66 yards and two touchdowns while throwing for another, finishing 13-of-23 for 136 yards. Gleason has 2,032 passing yards with 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions and has six rushing scores. Connor Walendzak leads the team with 368 rushing yards and Jerjuan Newton has 10 touchdown receptions among his 52 catches for 823 yards.
Toledo is 33-21-1 against Ohio in a series that dates to 1925. Their last meeting was a 17-7 Rockets victory in the 2022 MAC championship game in Detroit.
