They won by 10 points in a 68-58 win. Kam Jones led the team in that win with 19 points on 8-of-18 shooting and a team-high four assists from Marquette’s leading scorer.
The Seton Hall Pirates are 7-18 overall this season and have fallen deep in the Big East standings to just 2-12 against teams in the conference. They are a half-game above DePaul, who is at the bottom of the conference with a 2-13 record. They are eight games behind their opponent and 10 games behind the conference leader.
They have also played just one game in the last week. They took on UConn and won in overtime at home. They broke through with just a one-point win at the Prudential Center, led by 23 points from the team’s leading scorer Isaiah Coleman. Godswill Erheriene had the team’s only double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
