Prince Mohamed bin Fahd Stadium is set to host the exciting weekend matchup between home side Khaleej FC and visiting club Al-Hilal on Saturday in Saudi Pro League action. The visitors head into the meeting as the top-ranked team in the Saudi top-flight standings, with 28 points in 10 matches this season. The club is also sitting on an overall record of nine wins and just one draw. In the team’s most recent outing, Al-Hilal took a 3-1 victory over Al-Ettifaq on Nov. 8 at Kingdom Arena. Aleksandar Mitrović opened the scoring for the club in the 45th minute of the match. Then, Malcolm doubled the lead in the 81st minute, before Mohammed Al-Qahtani made it 3-1 in the 96th minute.

Before the win over Al-Ettifaq, Al-Hilal hosted Esteghlal FC on Nov. 4 at Kingdom Arena. Former Newcastle United striker Mitrović found the back of the net three times to secure all three points for the club in the AFC Champions League.
Al-Hilal also advanced in the King Cup of Champions, following a round of 16 victory over Al-Tai on Oct. 29. Abdullah Al-Hamdan opened the scoring in the fifth minute of the match. Al-Hamdan scored again in the 49th minute.
Additionally, Khalid Al-Ghannam and Marcos Leonardo got on the scoresheet in the 4-1 victory for Al-Hilal at Prince Abdul Aziz bin Musa’ed Stadium.
Meanwhile, Khaleej FC has been able to secure a total of 16 points in 10 matches so far this season. The club is sitting on an overall record of five wins, one draw and four losses.
