Winless in five straight matches, Leicester City welcomes West Ham into King Power Stadium on Tuesday.
After a 5-2 thumping at home to Arsenal on Saturday, West Ham United is wasting no time in getting back to the pitch to erase that loss from its memory when it heads north to face Leicester City on Tuesday in search of its first win inside King Power Stadium since April 2020. The Foxes are winless in their last five Premier League matches, having lost twice at home in that stretch. The Hammers picked up a 2-0 away win in their last road test at Newcastle United eight days ago, marking West Ham’s first road win since beating Crystal Palace back in late August.

Veteran forward Jamie Vardy leads Leicester City with four goals this season, scoring twice and assisting on two other goals over his last five games. Vardy scored a career-low three goals in 19 matches in 2022-23, as The Foxes were relegated, ending a streak of seven consecutive seasons of double digit goals. Verdy rebounded last season, netting 18 goals as Leicester City fought its way back into the Premier League, but it is again in danger of being sent down this season.
With three goals in his first nine matches, West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek is on pace for his second career double digit goal scoring season and has already surpassed his goal total for all of the 2022-23 campaign.
Leicester City is unbeaten in the last three meetings in this series, sweeping West Ham by a combined 4-1 in their fixtures during the 2022-23 season. The Foxes have not lost at home to West Ham since 2020 and have collected points in four of the last five meetings at home.
