Liverpool travels to West Ham on Sunday hoping to improve its advantage at the top of the Premier League, having gone undefeated in its last 22 games in all competitions. Arne Slot’s side came into this weekend’s action sat seven points clear after Chelsea suffered a shock home defeat to Fulham, with the Merseysiders (who already boast a game in hand) now looking to stretch their lead even further. Liverpool put five past the Hammers when these teams met in the League Cup back in September, but the east Londoners are looking to put up more of a fight amid their best run of form so far this season.

Liverpool extended its unbeaten streak to 22 consecutive games after downing Leicester City 3-1 on Boxing Day, where Mohamed Salah picked up his 16th goal of the campaign.

That’s in addtion to the club’s record Premier League scorer, Michail Antonio, already being out of commission following a car crash earlier in December.
Meanwhile, Dominik Szoboszlai will be suspended after he picked up his fifth yellow of the season in the win over Leicester, while Ibrahima Konate and Conor Bradley remain the Reds’ only injuries.
