Liverpool extended its unbeaten streak to 22 consecutive games after downing Leicester City 3-1 on Boxing Day, where Mohamed Salah picked up his 16th goal of the campaign.

West Ham, meanwhile, made it four games unbeaten after emerging as 1-0 victor at Southampton on Boxing Day, grabbing a third away win of the season to move up to 13th in the table.

Jarrod Bowen provided the finish to poke home following Niclas Fullkrug’s head on at the near post, overtaking Paolo Di Canio as the Hammers’ second-highest Premier League scorer of all time:

However, Julen Lopetegui will be hard-pressed to repeat those heroics at home to Liverpool especially in light of West Ham’s new raft of absences as the Reds come to town.

Max Kilman, Lukasz Fabianski and Carlos Soler were each forced off against Southampton, while Tomas Soucek and Guido Rodriguez picked up their fifth yellow cards of the season.

That’s in addtion to the club’s record Premier League scorer, Michail Antonio, already being out of commission following a car crash earlier in December.

Meanwhile, Dominik Szoboszlai will be suspended after he picked up his fifth yellow of the season in the win over Leicester, while Ibrahima Konate and Conor Bradley remain the Reds’ only injuries.
