Winners of nine consecutive EPL matches dating back to March of 2024, Man City comes into this match tied for the league lead with 11 goals scored with an astounding nine goals deposited by superstar forward Erling Haaland who has 72 goals under his belt in 66 career matches. Today Haaland faces a Gunners defense that has yielded only one goal through its first four matches as Arsenal stands as the last team to take points off City earning a 0-0 draw at this stadium last season.

No team in the Premier League has beaten Manchester City since December when Aston Villa notched a 1-0 win, a string of 27 games without a loss. City has been even more dominant at home having been unbeaten inside Etihad Stadium since a 2-1 loss to Brentford in November of 2022 in its penultimate home match before the 2022 World Cup.
Arsenal has smothered its opponents defensively this season posting three clean sheet victories including two in a row on the road. Though the Gunners are middle of the pack offensively, it possesses a handful of talented goal scorers paced by German forward Kai Havertz who has two goals in his first four matches this season. In his second season with Arsenal, Havertz has 15 goals in his first 41 appearances after tallying 19 with Chelsea from 2020-2023.
If any defensive side has Manchester City figured out, it is Arsenal as City has managed just one goal in two games last season.
Arsenal has not won at City in league play since 2015, a string of nine consecutive trips without a victory.
