How to Watch Procore Championship, First Round: Stream PGA Tour Golf Live, TV Channel

FedEx Cup Fall schedule gets under way Thursday at the Procore Championship as players scramble for 2025 PGA Tour cards.

The Procore Championship tees off Thursday at Silverado Resort in Napa, California, marking the beginning of the eight-event FedEx Cup Fall series. While the top 70 players from the season-long FedEx Cup race have full PGA Tour status for next season, the players below that tier are competing for 2025 exemptions and entry into signature events such as the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and the Genesis Invitational. The players in spots 51-70 earn those tickets to the signature events and those finishing between 71st and 125th earn full status for 2025. The players landing between 126th and 150th when the dust settles over the next 11 weeks earn conditional status and can improve on that at the PGA Tour Q School.

Formerly known as the Fortinet Championship, the Procore Championship will feature a couple of the PGA Tour’s big names. Defending champion Sahith Theegala, who finished third in the FedEx Cup standings, is back in Napa this weekend, along with Max Homa, who finished safely inside the top 50. Homa won the event in both 2021 and 2022.

Theegala tied the tournament record score last year with a 21-under mark, beating Kim Seong-hyeon by two strokes. The tournament pays $6 million, with $1.08 million to the winner, and was established in 2007 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, before moving to San Jose, California in 2010 and to its present location in Napa in 2015.

Victor Perez is currently the bubble player in 70th place entering the FedEx Fall schedule with 708 points, 61 ahead of Davis Riley. The winner of the Procore Championship earns 500 points and all of the FedEx Fall victors earn a two-year PGA Tour exemption as well as spots in the season-opening Sentry, the Players Championship and major championships that reserve spots for Tour winners.

    Regional restrictions may apply.
