The Simmons Bank Open for The Snedeker Foundation will tee off in the first round this morning at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Tennessee. This will be the fifth annual edition of this tournament and its partnership between the course and the Korn Ferry Tour of the PGA. This tournament also doubles as a fundraiser for the foundation of 2012 FedEx Cup champion Brandt Snedeker. Matt McCarty, Quade Cummins, Tim Widing, Karl Vilips, William Mouw and Ricky Castillo are the top six players predicted to be vying for the championship in this tournament. Today is just a step though, there are three more rounds after today so golfers will need to stay locked in.

A group consisting of Doc Redman, Rob Oppenheim, and Etienne Papineau teed off first this morning at 7:35 a.m. ET on hole one simultaneously with Ryan Blaum, Jeffrey Kand, and Keenan Huskey on hole 10. They were followed by Braden Thornberry, Alvaro Ortiz, and Paul Peterson with Brandon Harkins, Emilio Gonzalez, and Cody Blick on holes one and 10 at 7:46 a.m. ET.
The first group to tee off on this broadcast will be Patrick Cover, Tommy Gainey, and Ross Steelman on hole one with Austin Hitt, Daniel Summerhays, and Davis Chatfield on hole 10. The last group to tee off at 2:35 p.m. ET will be Morgan Hoffman, Peter Kuest, Christo Lamprecht, Walker Lee, Robert Streb, and Mason Williams on the two holes.
