The Sharks have alternated wins and losses over their last six games and have split the first two games of their four-game eastern road trip winning at New Jersey on Sunday then losing in a shootout to Philadelphia on Monday marking their third loss in overtime or shootout this season.

Rangers winger Artemi Panarin ranks in the top nine in the league with his team-leading 10 goals having already scored four times in five November games. Panarin, who ranks 10th in the league in points, comes into this game having tallied a point in 13 of his first 14 games and is currently on a five-game points streak. With an assist on New York’s lone goal in last Thursday’s home loss to Buffalo, Panarin tallied his 800th career point.
With four points in his last three games, Sharks center Mikael Granlund leads the team with 18 points this season, his second in San Jose. Granlund sits just two assists shy of 400 for his career and is on pace for his second consecutive 60-plus point season.
This series is split 2-2 over the last four meetings overall and 1-1 in the last two meetings inside MSG with San Jose picking up an overtime victory in October of 2022.
