The final day of high speed motorsports action will cruise into Ennis, Texas for the Texas Fall Nationals on Sunday.
The final day of the Texas Fall Nationals will take place on Sunday at the Texas Motorplex. Up until this point, the event has included ten days of music and top thrill drag racing. The final day of racing will see Nitro (Top Fuel & Funny Car), Pro Stock (Car & Motorcycle), Summit JDRL National Shootout, Sportsman (TD, Comp, TS, TAFC, & TAD) and Factory X. The racing conditions on Saturday were not favorable for competitors to improve upon their standings from Friday which left Antron Brown in first place in the top fuel with Justin Ashley trailing by 34 points. Brown has 79 career wins with a career-best speed of 337.24.

In the Funny Car division, Austin Prock has a 105-point lead over John Force. Prock has made a total of 18 career final rounds with 11 career wins. Force looks to add to his outstanding record of 157 career wins.
The top three in the Pro Stock division are Dallas Glenn, Aaron Stanfield and Erica Enders. Glenn leads over Stanfield and Enders by 31 and 90 points, respectively. Glenn has amassed a total of 14 career wins with a career-best E.T. 6.478. Stanfield has 13 career pro stock wins with a best E.T. of 6.457 and Enders with 48 pro stock career wins and a best of 6.45 E.T.
In the pro stock motorcycle division, Gaige Herrera leads with 2404 points with Matt Smith and Richard Gadson both being within 65 points of him. Herrera has 19 career wins and an all-time top speed of 204.54. Smith has 40 career wins with a best speed of 205.04.
There are two remaining stops in the 2024 NHRA season; Las Vegas being Halloween weekend and the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals in Pomona, California, November 14-17. Tune in to watch these top thrill dragsters as they take on the Texas Motorplex on Sunday.
