After snapping a four-game losing streak on Sunday, the Anaheim Ducks look for their first winning streak of the young season on Wednesday night as they welcome in the Vegas Golden Knights for the second of four meetings between the Pacific Division rivals. Vegas had won six of seven games before its current two-game losing skid that saw the Golden Knights suffer their second overtime loss of the season followed by their first home loss of the season to Carolina on Monday night. The Golden Knights won the first meeting of the season between these teams 3-1 in Vegas behind Ilya Samsonov’s 22 saves in his season debut.

Center Jack Eichel and winger Mark Stone each have eight points on the power play this season and winger Pavel Dorofeyev has tallied a team-leading four power play goals. Stone, in his seventh season with Vegas, is three power play assists away from 100 for his career.
Anaheim ranks last in the league scoring 2.21 goals per game. The Ducks offense has topped three goals in a game just five times through their first 14 games, but are 4-1 in those five instances.
The Ducks have won three of the last four in this series and have three wins in a row against Vegas on home ice. The Golden Knights won 18 of the first 21 trips to The Pond after joining the league in 2017.
