Winnipeg features a trio of skaters with defensemen Josh Morrissey and Neal Pionk alongside winger Kyle Connor who have each tallied double-digit assists already this season and have combined for seven goals and eight assists on the power play. Connor, in his ninth season in the NHL, collected his 500th career point at the end of October and has scored a point in all 12-games this season.
The Utah power play has been stuck in ice for the last seven games, scoring just two goals in that span and been held without a power play goal in six of the last seven games.
Clayton Keller has 12 points in 12 games this season for Utah and comes into this game on a four-game points streak. Keller, the seventh overall selection in the 2016 NHL Draft, has back-to-back 30-goal and 40-assist seasons.
This is the first of four meetings between the Central Division squads this season.
