The Utah Hockey Club goes for its fourth win in its last five games and looks to tie this season-series at a game apiece against the San Jose Sharks. Utah has earned a point in each of its last four games and are coming off a convincing 4-1 win over the Colorado Avalanche on the road on Thursday. The game was never really close against the Avs with the Hockey Club scoring the first three goals of the game and holding Colorado scoreless until the third period. Dylan Guenther was easily the first star of the game by scoring two goals and adding an assist. Utah scored on an empty net to ice the game with four minutes left in the game to tie the season series with the Avalanche. Utah won despite being outshot and goalie Karel Vejmelka earned the third star with 23 saves.

San Jose is coming off a 4-3 win against the St. Louis Blues on Thursday that ended a three-game losing streak. The win also avoided a sweep by the Blues in the season series finale. San Jose outshot St. Louis 31-20 but still narrowly avoided a loss with the Blues making a comeback in the third period.
It was Jake Walman who scored the game winner that put up the Sharks up 4-2 early in the third. Rookie Macklin Celebrini looked like a veteran scoring two goals and adding an assist to earn the first star. Only four points separate Utah and San Jose so this one might be closer than most expect especially with the Sharks playing at home.
