Rangers look to snap losing skid as the defending Cup champion Panthers as their road trip wraps up in Sunrise
With 14 losses in their last 18 games, including each of their last three outings, the New York Rangers are in a free fall as they head into Monday night’s matchup against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers for the second of three meetings between the Eastern Conference foes. The Panthers are eight days removed from their last win, a 4-2 road victory over rival Tampa Bay last Sunday, and have now lost two in a row on home ice failing to score a goal in consecutive 4-0 losses last week. Despite the sudden lapse in scoring, the Panthers rank sixth in the National Hockey League scoring 3.35 goals per game.
