The Vegas Golden Knights host the Winnipeg Jets on Friday night in a battle of two division leaders. The Golden Knights will be looking to bounce back from a loss after they saw their three-game winning streak snapped on Wednesday when they lost 2-1 in a shootout to the Colorado Avalanche. The loss dropped the Golden Knights to 14-6-3 on the season and was their second straight game that went to a shootout. They won the previous one abasing the Philadelphia Flyers, but just couldn’t do the same against the Avalanche. Despite taking the shootout loss, the Golden Knights still sit in first place in the Pacific Division with 31 points. They are three points up on the Calgary Flames and four up on the Los Angeles Kings. Friday’s game is the first of three straight at home for the Golden Knights before they play four of five away from home.

The Jets will be looking to be unwelcome guests and deal the Golden Knights a second straight loss. The Jets come into Friday looking to bounce back from a 4-1 loss to the Kings on Wednesday. It was their second loss in the last three games and dropped their record to 18-5-0.
Friday’s game is the fifth of a six-game road trip for the Jets that has seen the first four games all end in a 4-1 score.
The Jets have beat the Pittsburgh Penguins and Minnesota Wild 4-1, while losing to the Kings and Nashville Predators 4-1.
