Mika Zibanejad and the New York Rangers will take the ice against Seth Jarvis and the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night.
The Carolina Hurricanes will stay on the road and take the ice at Madison Square Garden for the second game of a best-of-seven series with the New York Rangers in the second round of the playoffs on Tuesday night. The Rangers lead the series 1-0 after a win on Sunday. They took on the Washington Capitals in their first series, winning that series in a four-game sweep to start the playoffs. 10 different players scored in a game in that series that ended with a goal differential of 15-7, as they put in almost four goals per game. They scored four more goals in the 4-3 win on Sunday night to take Game 1. They went up 3-1 after the first period with two goals from Mika Zibanejad and one from Vincent Trocheck, who was assisted by Zibanejad. Chris Kreider also assisted on two of those three goals. After no goals in the second period, Artemi Panarin scored the game-winning goal in the third period assisted by Alexis Lafreniere.

The Hurricanes will look to snag a game on the road and tie the series at 1-1 with a win here tonight. They got to this point with a first round win over the New York Islanders in five games. Game 4 was the only game that the Islanders won. Seth Jarvis has been phenomenal for the team thus far this postseason.
He has a total of eight points, including a team-high four goals in six games and four assists as well. Martin Necas and Jake Guentzel join him with four assists each. Necas also has two goals and Guentzel just one. 10 other players on the team have scored this postseason as well, including Stefan Noesen who has three goals.
