The Vegas Golden Knights look to win their fourth in a row but will face a tough test when they travel to take on the Winnipeg Jets Thursday.
The Winnipeg Jets and Vegas Golden Knights look to stay at the top of their respective divisions when they face-off for the second time this season on Thursday. The previous game was very close, ending in a 4-3 win for the Golden Knights with Brett Howden scoring two goals, including the game winner. These have been two of the best teams in the league this season. The Golden Knights have won three games in a row and four of their last five.
Vegas is coming off another close game in a 3-2 win over the Dallas Stars. Mark Stone made his return from injury, missing nearly a month. Vegas won despite the Stars notching 40 shots, with goalie Adin Hill getting the second star of the game with 38 saves. Shea Theodore was the first star of the game with two assists on the Golden Knight’s two power play goals. Dallas was really done in with six penalties compared to just two for Vegas.

The Jets are going for their fourth win in five games and they are coming off their most impressive win of the season, beating the Boston Bruins 8-1. Mark Scheifele scored two goals in the dominating win to earn the first star. The game was relatively close after the second period up, but the Jets turned on the afterburners in the third, scoring five more goals.
The game continues Scheifele’s hot streak, as he has now earned a point in his last 13 games. He’ll likely need another if Winnipeg is to defend home ice tonight.
